One month with Thaara, from Kisal
run your finger across the stone to read it
Something is written here. It is cut deep into the stone, so you will only see it where the light falls. Move the light, and read your name.
One month. Thirty days since you walked in, and everything got lighter. I did not expect that. I am still not over it.
So I wrote it down. All of it is yours. Keep going.

A month of you
Thaara,
One month. That is all it has been, and it already feels like the best part of my year.
I was not looking for anything. I was just going through my days, and then you were there. Your voice, your laugh, the way you turn an ordinary evening into something I want to keep.
You have been company for me in a way I did not know I was missing. Talking to you is easy. Being quiet with you is easy too. And somewhere in these thirty days something in me got lighter, like a weight I had carried so long that I forgot it was there finally put itself down. You did that. Just by being here. Just by being you.
So I am grateful. For your patience. For the way you listen. For how you make the future look like somewhere I want to walk towards instead of something to get through.
If one month can feel like this, I cannot wait for the rest of them.
Thank you for the memories over this month, my love.
